918/337-4305. BDM-Oklahoma (BDM), Management and Operating Contractor
for the Department of Energy's (DOE's) National Oil and Related
Programs under prime contract DE-AC22-94PC91008, is seeking qualified
participation in a program titled ``Fossil Energy Modeling
Development''. The work will be conducted in two primary areas
consisting of Oil & Gas Resource Assessments and Modeling & Simulation
Techniques. The Oil & Gas Resource Assessments effort requires
demonstrated ability and expertise in conducting regional or national
oil and gas resource evaluations and assessments. This should include
strong capabilities in petroleum engineering, geology, and geophysics.
Experience should include conducting analytical studies that help
define an integrated oil and gas research and development program and
evaluate policy options. Experience with any of the following DOE
models is desirable: Tertiary Oil Recovery Information System (TORIS),
National Energy Modeling System (NEMS), and the Crude Oil Policy Model
(COPM). Participants shall also have demonstrated experience in
Modeling and Simulation techniques to include design, development, and
implementation of energy models and simulations. Experience in data
collection, validation, peer review, and analysis are desired. An
understanding of computer modeling and simulation tools and
environments is also desired. Firms that recognize and can perform the
effort described above are encouraged to submit capability statements
summarizing their qualifications by 4 PM CST on December 22, 1995.
