J -- PREVENTATIVE/REMEDIAL MAINTENANCE SOL F04699-96-R-0024 DUE 011896 POC For copy, contact the info office indicated., For additional information contact Baustian.R9l/Pkosa/916-643-5272 It is the Government's intention to enter into a sole source procurement with JEOL USA Inc, 11 Dearborn Rd, Peabody MA for preventative and remedial maintenance on a JEOL Scanning Electron Microanalyzer, Model JXA-840II and two each JEOL Scanning Electron Microprobes, Model JXA-8600- 5. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract as a result of subject solicitation. The requirement calls for work to be accomplished on site at McClellan AFB CA. This acquisition will be subject to the Service Contract Act. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and transportation necessary to provide the required services. Period of performance is one (1) year with four (4) one year options. The Government will evaluate offers inclusive of the options. See Note 22. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
