Researchers in the Building and Fire Research Laboratory at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) have developed new environmentally Safe Fire Retardant Technology. The technology is potentially applicable to numerous commodity polymers. Therefore, the NIST researchers are inviting interested companies, organizations, and individuals to participate in a Consortium dedicated to further research on the basic science of the technology as applied to specific applications.
