Z -- ACM ABATEMENT AT DOVER AFB DE SOL F07603-96-B8206 DUE 011996 POC Robert Smith, Contract Specialist, 302-677-5208. The project consists essentially of, but not limited to, the removal and disposal of asbestos containing material from various facilities, including Military Family Housing, on Dover Air Force Base, Delaware as ordered by the Contracting Officer. Work will be accomplished in both occupied and unoccupied facilities. The prime contractor shall perform 90% of the contract work. The Government Contract Certified Industrial Hygienist will be responsible for asbestos plans and area monitoring in accordance with the contract specifications. This solicitation will result in an indefinite delivery type requirements contract. Estimated contract performance period is 365 calendar days with (1) one base year and (2) two option years. The contract period for the base year will be from date of award through 30 Sep 96. The performance period for each work request will be negotiated. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000 per year. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 1799. This solicitation is being issued on an unrestricted basis.
