HARVEY (205) 235-7558 (Site Code DAAC01) Fifteen (15) each six wheel heavy duty trailer chassis. Trailer chassis shall have a minimum capacity of 45,000 pounds at speeds less than 25 mph. Shall be equipped with a rocking front bolster to minimize frame stress when traveling over uneven ground. Equipped with heavy duty taper roller bearing hubs that have 8 studs on an 8 inch diameter bolt circle. Studs shall be 5/8 inch diameter minimum. Hub pilot diameter shall be 6 inches. Shall be equipped with tandem rear, walking beam type axles or single dual wheel axle. Shall come equipped with a 3 inch ID pintle hitch tongue. Shall come equipped with 100 to 120 inch tongue length. Tongue shall be spring supported such that the pintle ring remains 4 to 8 inches above ground when unhooked. Shall come with 85 plus/minus 1.0 inch bolster width. Shall come equipped with automotive type steering. Shall have 170/180 inch wheel base. Shall come with 6 each 8.25 x 15, twelve ply industrial tires and wheels installed. Minimum load capacity of each tire, wheel, and hub shall be 8,000 pounds when the tires are inflated to 100 psi. Each tire shall be filled with solid fill flat proof tire compound. Quantity 15 each. Delivery shall be 120 days after date of award. Requirement is 100% set aside for small business.
