16 -- INSTALLATION OF ASPJ ON F-14D AIRCRAFT POC Contact, Jennifer M. Chropuvka, Phone (703)604-6100 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to contract with the Northrop Grumman Corportation, Bethpage, New York for the modification of forty-three F-14D Aircraft to allow for installation of Airborne Self-Protection Jammers (ASPJs). The effort will include the modification of the compartment 2E deck, the environmental control system components, the wire-harness, and the cooling air manifold; the design fabrication and non-recurring efforts required to incorporate these modifications; an aircraft change directive data package; and installation of ASPJs. As the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the F-14 Aircraft, Northrop-Grumman is the only known source available to provide the required effort.
