X -- PORT AUTHORITY OF GUAM NOTICE TO SOLICIT INTEREST TO UTILIZE EXCESS MILITARY PROPERTY FOR SEAPORT AND RELATED PURPOSES In consonance wi6th the BRAC '95 Steering Committee created by Executive Order 95-17 to oversee the base reuse planning process and delegation by the Steering Committee, the Port Authority of Guam (PAG), an autonomous instrumentality of the Government of Guam, hereby solicits interest from parties interested in utilizing lands and facilities for seaport related purposes including, but not limited to, passenger liner facilities and tourism; fisheries and related activities; transshipment and container staging; ship repair and ship resupply; warehousing and cold storage; recreation, commercial, industrial and other harbor related uses. The Government of Guam anticipates the release of over 2.7 million square feet of warehouse space, over 11,000 feet of wharfage space, equipment and other potentially excess military facilities and lands under joint use, lease, direct transfer or other form of agreement over properties approved for closure and realignment by the President and Congress of the United States. All parties interested in utilizing harbor properties shall submit a ``Letter of Interest'' indicating the proposed business activity, operational space requirements, anticipated job and revenue generation, projected start date and such other information that will assist the Port Authority in understanding the expression of interest.
