Elements of work include furnishing supervision, equipment, materials, labor and transportation required to provide Mosquito prevention and control services at the Naval Weapons Station, Concord, CA. The services will be performed in conjunction with and in the same manner as performed by the Contra Costa Mosquito Abatement District for the overall geographic area serviced by the District. Services shall include surveillance, integrated pest management procedures associated with reduction of mosquito breeding sources, source reduction, and application of appropriate pesticides for the control of larvae and adult mosquito populations on all grounds with in the Naval Weapons Station Concord, California. All work shall be performed by individuals currently certified by the California Department of Health Services as a Certified Mosquito Control Technician or holding equivalent licenses from the California Department of Food and Agriculture. The Contractor must have authority to take all necessary or proper steps to control mosquitoes on Naval Weapons Station or coordinate with the local Mosquito Abatement District for abatement of adjacent properties so situated with respect to the area that mosquitoes may disperse from adjacent lands onto the Weapons Station. Contractor must also have the authority to abate nuisances, all standing water, and other breeding places for mosquitoes on the Weapons Station and coordinate with the Local Mosquito Abatement District for abatement of adjacent lands where mosquitoes may disperse onto the Weapons Station. The SIC code is 4959. The related small business standard is $5.0 million. This acquisition is set aside for Small Business Concerns. Quotes are due on 9 Jan 1996 at 2:30 PM. The resulting contract will be a combination fixed price contract Indefinite Quantity Contract. The term of the contract is for one year.
