The work includes providing all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, training and management necessary to provide Perimeter Security Guard and Security Services at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, Virginia. The successful contractor's fire shall be located in the United States and U.S. Work to be accomplished by means of a Combination Firm Fixed Price and Indefinite Quantity type contract. The contract term shall be for a period of one year. The Government shall have the option to extend the term of the contract services for additional periods of one to twelve months. The total contract term, including exercise of any options, shall not exceed 60 months. Plans and specifications will be made available on or about 18 December 1995. The proposed procurement listed herein is being offered for competition limited to eligible 8(a) concerns. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 7381. Eligibility to participate will be restricted to firms in the Transitional stage.
