A -- NATIONAL AIR AND SPACE MODEL (NASM) SOL F19628-95-R-0070 POC Marian Cameron, Contract Manager, 617-377-6602; Kent Kinal, Contracting Officer, 617-377-6607. This synopsis is to update information contained in the August 1, 1995 Sources Sought Synopsis, and to notify all prospective sources of current NASM activities. A Cost-Plus-Award-Fee type contract is contemplated, with single contractor award being made based on full and open competition. The total contract ceiling is estimated to be $100M, with a start date of May 1996 and an eight year period of performance. The Draft Request For Proposal (RFP) for NASM and related program documentation is being posted incrementally on the Hanscom Electronic RFP Bulletin Board (HERBB) (617) 274-0500 (TELNET 129.53.28.211). A MODEM and commercially available communications software are all that is needed to access HERBB. It is available 24 hours a day. HERBB is currently connected to 8 phone lines at 14.4K BPS. It can also be accessed through the ESC LAN. HERBB is designed to be available to all potential offerors regardless of company size. Other Government agencies may access via DDN. To accomodate the greatest number of potential users, all text files on HERBB will be ASCII text files. Additional formats may be available as well. A copy of the current source list is available on HERBB. Potential offerors not already on the source list may request to be placed on the list by submitting a request to the Contract Manager at the address above or via Internet to cameronm@radium-vs1.hanscom.af.mil. Requests must indicate whether the concern is: large, small, disadvantaged, women-owned, US or foreign owned/controlled, and must also specify a contact person with telephone number and mailing address. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small if its average annual sales are less than $18 million. The Air Force is maintaining this list for informational purposes only. A bidders library will be established by the end of November 1995 at the Phillips Laboratory Research Library at Hanscom AFB, MA. The library will contain documents pertinent to the upcoming RFP and will be available for use by all prospective sources. Procedures for using the library may be obtained from HERBB. It is also nticipated that the NASM Program Office will conduct a bidders conference in late December 1995 or early January 1996.
