The Francis Marion National Forest plans to contract for Prescribed Burn Fireline Construction and Suppression Standby in Charleston and Berkeley Counties, South Carolina. The purpose of this contract is to supply services for 1) prescribed burn plowing using a crawler tractor with operator. 2) prescribed burn standby and suppression. 3) wildfire standby on high fire danger days and 4) wildfire line construction (wildfire suppression). The contractor shall furnish all equipment, materials, supervision, transportation, repair and maintenance, labor and supplies, except those listed as government furnished property, to perform all work specified herein.
