R -- PRIVATIZATION OF BASE OPERATIONS FUNCTIONS SOL CBD&&&-9511-0001 POC SEE BELOW (Site Code DABT57) Request for Information - Privatization of Base Operations Functions: Seeking information from industry regarding experience in providing full turn-key base operation services to DOD installations. Full turn-key services would include morale/welfare/recreation type functions, human resource management, engineering, logistics-type functions, physical security and law enforcement, safety and environmental management and budget management - excluded are acquisition, chaplain-type functions, medical services and military personnel management. Would like to know scope of experience - most interested in contracts to manage/operate multifunctional (i.e., more than one) area, and single contracts for all base operation functions. Please provide contract numbers, a brief description of functional areas covered by services provided, and government point of contact (if available). It would also be helpful to get information describing ''lessons learned'' - i.e., how could it have been done better?
