Privott, 804/441-6560 The Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) proposes to solicit for refresher training for NOAA Corps Officers returning to sea duty. The contractor shall provide all training curriculum that provides for the following: 1. Navigation Rules, 2. Radar Navigation and Collision Avoidance, 3. Bridge Resource/Team Management, 4. Shiphandling, 5. Ship Stability, and 6. Firefighting and Damage Control. Course length shall not exceed three weeks in length, classes shall accommodate 12 to 15 individuals and shall be taught during two separate sessions. February/March 1996 and September/October 1996. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency.
