Y -- SECTION 33 NON-TRADITIONAL EROSION CONTROL, NORTH DAKOTA PILOT PROJECT, MISSOURI RIVER, MCKENZIE COUNTY, NORTH DAKOTA SOL DACW45-96-B-0022 DUE 012396 POC Contact Contracting Division at: (402)221-4266. The work will include the following: (Approx. quantities) A few miles from the tailwaters of Lake Sakakawea and about 20 miles from Williston, North Dakota, along the right bank of the Missouri River, several sections of bankline will be stabilized by placement of seven (7) riprap refusals, 250 LF riprap revetment, eight (8) log hard points, 1000 live willow posts and 450 six foot diameter hay bales. The estimated construction cost of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Contractor's Quality Control will be a requirement in this contract. The Contractor will be required to commence work within 10 days after notice to proceed and complete the work 120 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Provisions will be included for liquidated damages in case of failure to complete the work in the time allowed. Performance and payment bonds will be required. Bid sets will be available on/a December 19, 1995. Half-size plans and specifications will be furnished upon request. All requests for solicitation packages should be made in writing no later than 14 days prior to bid opening. After such time, packages will be furnished if supply is available. It has been determined that the number of sets be limited to 1 (one) per firm (additional copies will be the responsibility of the requestor).
