(Dick) Tokosch Tel: (410) 965-9492 FAX: 410-965-9560 The Social Security Administration (SSA) headquarters personnel currently use several hundred different pagers and three primary services acquired under numerous purchase orders. In order to reduce administrative costs, SSA is seeking a provider for all HQ pager requirements.The three types of services required are Nationwide Alpha-Numeric; Nationwide Numeric and Local (Baltimore/Washington) Numeric. For Alpha service, Advisor, Memo Express or equivalent pagers are to be provided. For Numeric service, Bravo Plus or equivalent. Offerors shall include equipment lease, airtime including an average of 200 - 300 pages per month per unit, replacement unit program, consolidated billing, and a variety of support services including 800 service. The pagers must operate on a frequency capable of penetrating all levels of the SSA HQ buildings. SSA plans to award an Indefinite Quantity Contract with a minimum of 900 units and a maximum of 1750 units. The contract will have one base year with two option years. Offerors may be required to perform an Operational Capability Demonstration to verify pager performance. Requests for the subject RFP shall be sent to the above address.
