The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Purchase Branch Philadelphia, Code 623, is conducting a market survey to determine sources of supply for an Ultrasonic Immersion Testing Tank. The tank will be manufactured to be compatible with a TECRAD Corporation TOMOSCAN Ultrasonic Inspection System and must meet the following minimum requirements: encoding accuracy to 0.001'', through transmission inspection capability, the bridge shall have an X, Y, Z automatic control, one transducer automatic angle control for through transmission probe alignment, approximately 18'' diameter turntable for helical scanning of cylinders, tank dimensions approximately 3 feet wide by 5 feet long by 3 feet deep. A bridge control unit may be required. This is not a Request for Procurement (RFP) and may not result in a future contract.
