In accordance with requirements set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulations, FAR 6.302.1 and 5.201, the Agency for International Development (AID) to provide the U.S. Agency for International Development with communication services to support the Agency's Internet traffic. The Agency wishes to procure a one- year subscription for two connections, one connection will support internal users' with access to the Internet, the second will allow the public to access data on platforms not connected to USAID-NET. Additionally, services will be required for: Network monitoring, Technical assistance and Help line information service; Redundant equipment to minimized downtime; High speed dial-up capability during extended outage; SMD connectivity; synchronization/domain names/IP address coordination; and direct National access point connectivity. This synopsis of intent shall not be considered a solicitation document. No award will be made based solely on the basis of any responses to this synopsis. Responsible sources capable of meeting the Government's requirement may respond by furnishing their qualifications/capabilities (i.e., technical specifications, brochures; and price list).
