The Agency for International Development intends to issue a purchase order for annual software maintenance for the ''Key family'' of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) design tools. Contractor shall provide off-the-shelf software upgrades and off-the-shelf software enhancements as developed during the term of the contract for: KEY- Analyze, KEY- Design, KEY- Plan and KEY- Expert, 12 workstations each. This synopsis of intent shall not be considered a solicitation document. No award will be made solely on the basis of any responses to this synopsis. Responsible sources capable of meeting the Government's requirement may respond furnishing clear and convincing data substantiating ability to furnish the requirement, including technical and pricing data, GSA Contract Number, if applicable, within 15 days after publication of this notice. If no responses are received showing that a comparable source is available at lower overall costs and technical capabilities to maintain the software within 15 days from publication of this notice, a contract will be awarded.
