The Joint Airborne SIGINT System (JASS) will advance SIGINT technology and incorporate enhanced capabilities into a variety of DoD aircraft using a phased development approach. Preliminary discussions of this acquisition approach were held at the JASA Industry Day, 30 Jun 95. The JASS Program Office at Wright-Patterson AFB OH is seeking contractor involvement in the finalization of its acquisition strategy. Potential contractors for the JASS program are invited to provide input regarding the acquisition strategy for the overall JASS program, including acquisition streamlining initiatives and alternative acquisition approaches.
