The U.S. Department of Energy, Richland Operations Office, is seeking proposals on a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a Contractor to manage the Hanford Site located in Southeastern Washington near Richland, WA. Management of the site includes the integration and prioritization of site programs and administration of various proposer-selected Major Subcontractors for operation of Project Hanford. The budget estimated for the initial five year period from October 1, 1996 to September 30, 2001, to operate the site is $4.5 billion. The RFP will be available on or about December 22, 1995.
