However, for several reasons, including scope of work revisions, the RFP Issue Date has been delayed and the previous 10/03/95 CBD announcement is hereby cancelled. Sometime after the beginning of January, 1996, a new CBD Notice will be issued that will state the new RFP Issue Date and it will also provide the new project scope of work description. The solicitation will continue to be known as the Cairo Air Improvement Project (CAIP), and the same Request for Proposal number will be used, i.e. RFP-263-95-P-074. Also, for those that have submitted a faxed request for receiving the RFP, your name will be kept on the Bidder's List for eventually receiving a copy of the RFP and any supporting documents issued at the same time. No draft RFP, Project Paper or other supporting material will be provided to anyone until all data is released on the RFP Issue Date. Also, USAID/Egypt requests that interested offerors not call or visit the Mission in order to request information about the CAIP RFP or related CAIP activities. For the sake of full and open competition, all information will be released on the same day and no special advantage or information will be provided to anyone.
