The U.S. Army Aviation and Troop Command proposes to acquire, on a sole source basis, certain electronic office support efforts for the RAH-66 Comanche Program Manager's Office. The period of performance is anticipated to be four months and any follow-on effort is expected to be awarded on a competitive basis. The Government anticipates awarding a sole source contract, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), to Rail Co., 515 East Joppa Road, Suite 300, Towson, MD 21286-5418. The Government's minimum needs can only currently be satisifed within the required time frame to Rail Company. The electronic office support hardware and/or software must be able to be successfully integrated into the unique Comanche Integrated Services Network (CISNET), which has been developed and maintained by the Rail Company to support Rail's competitively awarded software engineering service for the Comanche airframe and engine development contracts.
