The Service's laboratories are leading an initiative to develop a Tri-Service Technology Development Strategy for Avionics. The objective of this strategy is to achieve a focused and defensible program for the future development of avionic technology. This initiative is being overseen by Dr. Donald M. Dix (ODDR&E (AT)) and is being managed by Dr. Charles H. Krueger (WL/AAA). A crucial element in the successful development of this plan will be the support and corroboration of the avionic industry. A World-Wide Web page is therefore being constructed to show the latest issues being worked together with a comment page enabling the reader to respond directly to the team responsible for the work.
