The United States Postal Service is seeking proposals to lease existing space, space to be modified, or facilities to be constructed in Plattsburgh, NY 12901. All sites within the preferred area will be considered; however, sites offered within the following boundaries will receive priority consideration: Centrally located within 1/2 mile East or West of Interstate 87 (The Northway) from Exit 36 through Exit 40, inclusive. Space requirements are approximately: 4,362 net interior square feet; 28,596 sq. ft. of driveway, parking and maneuvering area, along with a 1,630 sq. ft loading platform (included in net interior); and 43,560 sq. ft. total developable site less setbacks. The lease term is for a base term of ten years with no renewal options.
