SYNOPSIS - This work includes provision of necessary labor, transportation, materials, supplies, equipment, and supervision to install new fire protection systems in Buildings 104 and 126 including the installation of wet-pipe automatic sprinkler systems, automatic deluge sprinkler systems, and high speed deluge systems protecting small work stations. The systems are to be installed in areas in which high explosives RDX are processed. In addition, the work includes an underground water supply connection between Buildings 104 and 2081. The project also includes improvements to fire door hardware and incidental related work at the Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, IN. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this project is 1541. The related Small Business size standard is 17 million. Completion time is 36 days after award.
