The system shall provide variable record/playback speeds over a 512:1 range, the capability of remote control operations, up to 64 channels of record/replay, and all associated read/write primary formatting and electronics for these 64 channels to record at 22.75 kHz bandwidth, complete with full annotation and voice capability. The system shall also feature a dynamic range of 96 dB and a signal-to-noise ratio of 90 dB in the analog-to-digital signal conversion. The system shall utilize the S-VHS helical scan technology that provides for a storage capacity of up to 98 GB on a single cassette. The system shall be modular and rack mountable.
