THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. DO NOT REQUEST SOLICITATION. The document archival and retrieval system will provide for the storage of all forms of documents, images and text data in an integrated and compressed manner at the desktop and allow for immediate retrieval and/or printing. The document archival and retrieval system will provide rapid and simultaneous access to documents using robust file-serving technology combined with optical and/or CD-ROM storage. Document scanners will be used to capture the documents, images and text data, including handwritten notes. Interested companies are requested to furnish technical literature, brochures, catalogs, and any information showing latest technology and capability.
