Hamrick, (703) 875-6842 It is the intent of the Department of State to modify Contract S-OPRAQ-95-D-0574 with GTE Government Systems to allow for the purchase of telephone PBX systems to equip testing and training centers/laboratories at domestic locations in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The equipment to be placed in the training centers/laboratories must be identical to the equipment being purchased under this contract for overseas locations. This equipment will be used solely for purposes of testing the identical equipment that is to be utilized at DOS overseas locations and training Department of State personnel to operate and maintain the systems purchased under the contract that will be installed at these sites. The equipment to be purchased for domestic use will not connect to the public switch network and will not function as operating telephone systems. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and a solicitation will not be released. Note 22. (0345)
