C -- SEEKING THE SERVICES OF A HYDROLOGIST TO PERFORM STUDIES, MAKE ASSESSMENTS AND PREPARE REPORTS CONCERNING HYDROLOGICAL AND RELATED ENVIRONMENTAL CONSIDERATIONS Sol CM-1021 due 011296. The New York City Transit Authority is seeking to retain the services of a Hydrologist to perform studies, make assessments and prepare reports concerning hydrological and related environmental considerations for the capital projects. Typical work functions includes review of ground water data, and evaluation of borings and other hydrological material; analysis of project impact on the environment; review of qualitative and quantitative requirement for Authority's water supply systems, such as for car washers, bus washers, etc.; analysis of water leakage into subway structures, including recommendations for solutions; analyse and design recommendations of water sources for new well installations; preparation of permits and applications such as environmental assessments, etc.; render assistance to the City of New York and the New York City Transit Authority in defence against claims or suits that are in any way related to hydrological conditions and/or circumstances; render assistance to the New York City Transit Authority in the development of an instrumentation program and evaluation and interpretation of reports. Estimated budgeted amount: $350,000. Duration of the contract: Three (3) years. The submission must be received by the Authority no later than 12:00 Noon Friday, January 12, 1996. Please Note: In evaluating a Consultant's response to this advertisement, the Authority considers only the information which is supplied in the SF254/255 forms and information contained in Transit Authority Consultant Evaluation Reports on file, for work performed on prior Authority Projects. The Authority, therefore, requires all Consultants to refrain from submitting any material other than what has been requested.
