The US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) requires fish marking services at approximately eleven national fish hatcheries in the States of WA, OR and ID. Number of fish to be marked at hatcheries range from 20,000 to 1,500,000 and vary in size from 25 to 600 per pound. Marking will be accomplished by the removal of the adipose fin, left ventral fin, right ventral fin, injection of a coded wire tag, freeze branding or various combinations of these marks. The marking trailer(s) and supplies for marking are furnished by the USFWS. All work will be done between February 1, and December 31 of 1996. This is a total small business set-aside. (345)
