SIC Code 1731 applies. Work to include installation of concrete encased schedule 40 pvc conduit, manholes, trenching (machine and hand), shoring, grounding, 15 kV 500 kcmil feeder(s), terminations, 15 kV SF6 switches, splicing and restoration. This contract consists mainly of labor to install Brookhaven provided material. (Miscellaneous fittings, hardware and racking equpment etc. to be provided by contractor). Estimated construction cost is $250,000 to $500,000. Bid documents will be available on or about December 21, 1995. A 20% bid bond is required. Payment and performance bonds are required after contract award. Brookhaven is charging a non-refundable fee of $30.00 for bid documents. Personal checks made out to ''Brookhaven National Laboratory'' are acceptable. Checks may be sent immediately and bid packages will be mailed upon availability.
