Z -- SITEWORK UPGRADE FOR SUBSTATION 631 POC Contact Point, David Dale, (516)282-3199 This contract will be set aside for bidding by small businesses only. SIC Code 1541 applies. Work consists of providing and erecting a pre-engineered metal sided building (approximately 1000 S.F.) on concrete footings and slab with subfloor cable vault. Project included lighting, power, electric heat, plumbing, ventilation, sanitary, site clearing and grading. Work shall be coordinated to allow equipment installation contractor access to project. All work will be awarded on a single contract. Estimated construction cost is $250,000 to $500,000. Estimated construction time is 16 weeks. Bid documents will be available on or about January 31, 1996. A 20% bid bond is required. Payment and performance bonds are required after contract award. Brookhaven is charging a non-refundable fee of $30.00 for bid documents. Personal checks made out to ''Brookhaven National Laboratory'' are acceptable. Checks may be sent immediately and bid packages will be mailed upon availability. Requests for bid packages received without proper payment will not be acknowledged. (0345)
