70 -- MIMIC BOARD FOR CONTROL ROOM, HOOVER DAM, BOULDER CANYON PROJECT, ARIZONA - NEVADA SOL 1425-6-SI-30-11950 POC Contact Ms. Sonja Poindexter, Procurement Technician at 702-293-8569; Synopsis No. 95-57 The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement to procure a large screen Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) projection display system which shall be used as a dynamic mapboard system driven from an IBM PC and DEC Alpha-based Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition/Programmable Master Supervisory Control System (SCADA/PMSC). The physical space available for the projection display screen is 20 feet wide by up to 8 feet deep with a ceiling height of about 12 feet. The dynamic large screen projection display system shall include the following major components: 1) a server that interfaces the multiple video projectors with the SCADA/PMSC and drives the multiple projectors from the NT or X Window graphical data displays from the SCADA/PMSC (offerors will be required to demonstrate the performance of the large screen display server); 2) multiple high-resolution LCD video projectors that display the dynamic images; 3) the viewing screen wall that consists of multiple viewing screens arranged in front of the operator's console; and 4) a video/audio matrix switch with audio follow thought capabilities to route multiple S-Video, NTSC, or RGB signals to any of the designated projection panels. The contractor shall also provide installation services and training. The performance time for completion of this project is 150 days. All responsible offerors may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. All requests for this solicitation must be in writing. The estimated cost range of this project is $250,001 to $500,000. The location of this project is at Hoover Dam, Clark County, Nevada. The presolicitation notice (SF-1417) for this project is currently available. The solicitation is scheduled for issuance on or about February 20, 1996. The estimated date for receipt of bids is March 20, 1996. This solicitation is unrestricted and is a full and open competition. For this acquisition the standard industrial classification code is 3823 and the small business size standard is 500 employees.
