99 -- OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE SUPPORT -- ERL/GB SOL C600002T1 POC Contact Point, Billy Oden, (513)366-2126, Contracting Officer, Billy Oden, (513)366-2126 The Environmental Research Laboratory in Gulf Breeze, Florida has a requirement for facilities operation and maintenance services. The laboratory consists of 62 separate structures on a 17-acre island. The total area of all structures is more than 85,000 gross square feet. The contractor shall furnish the necessary qualified personnel, supervision, supplies, materials for the operation, maintenance, and repair of the facilities, grounds, mechanical, electrical, seawater systems, field equipment, marine equipment, scientific equipment, and warehousing. The contract will require superior level of technical expertise in the fields of HVAC Mechanic, Electrician, and Plumbing. The Government anticipates awarding a fixed price contract consisting of a twelve month base period and four term options of 12 months each for a total potential performance period of 60 months. The base period, and each term option will consist of approximately eight person years of effort with the capability of increasing the effort by three person years during each term.
