B -- CENTRAL AND EASTERN EUROPE PROGRAM SUPPORT CONTRACTOR POC Della Glenn, USTDA, Room 309, SA-16, Washington, D.C. 20523-1602, Tel: (703) 875-4357, Fax No.: (703) 875-4009 The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (TDA) intends to procure, on a sole source basis, follow-on services from Erik Thoresen, under statutory authority 41 USC, 253 (c) (1), as implemented under FAR 6.302-1, to provide program evaluation in support of the implementation of a project tracking system, market and technology research, assessment of project proposals, and conference and orientation visit management. TDA has determined that it is likely that award to a source other than the original source would result in (i) substantial duplication of cost to the Government which is not expected to be recovered through competition, and (ii) unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's needs. The period of performance is from January 2, 1996 to January 1, 1997. The proposed contract action is for one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1.
