The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) seeks to modify an existing contract that provides mail room, receiving, photocopying, clerical, and laborer services to include the Training Institute facility and operation. The services required include but are not limited to: (1) administration of the training facility including room scheduling, overseeing room set up and cleanup, actual equipment set up, testing and disassembling; (2) facilitation support including reproduction/assembling of course materials, direct support to instructors, and preparation of items such as flipcharts, tentcards; (3) direct support to instructors including furnishing all necessary items for classroom delivery; troubleshooting problems in the use of the equipment, filming portions of instruction. This is a continuation and enhancement of the work already undertaken by the existing provider. In view of the provider's familiarity with the agency's training facility, its scheduling, operation, equipment and the time already spent in learning the work as well as PBGC policies and procedures, it is in PBGC's best interest for the current provider to complete the tasks within the existing timeframes under the contract.
