GALLAGHER, (215)697-9606 The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Detachment Philadelphia proposes to acquire Engineering and Technical Support Services for the NAVSEA Shipbuilding Support Office (NAVSHIPSO), Detachment in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Engineering and Technical Support Services will be in support of current and future Navy shipbuilding, ship modernization, overhaul, alteration, maintenance and repair programs. A Cost Plus Fixed Fee indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract is anticipated. This acquisition will be conducted on a ''best value'' basis. The anticipated number of hours of effort is 145,600 during the initial contract period of 1 May 1996 through 30 April 1997 with an additionally four (4) one-year option periods of 145,600 hours of effort each for a total five (5) year estimated effort of 728,000 hours.
