Construct Band Rehearsal Center and Recording Studio. Construct a 9,166 square foot facility to provide rehearsal rooms and a recording studio for the Band of the Rockies. Facility consists of concrete masonry unit walls with steel roof joists topped by a lightweight concrete deck. Site work include utility distribution systems, grading and construction of loading dock and parking areas. This project requires specialized construction to provide acoustical wall and ceiling finishes and electronics to support the recording studio. The magnitude of this acquisition is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The solicitation is scheduled for issuance on or about 31 Jan 96 with a bid opening on or about 4 Mar 96. Performance time for the project is 180 calendar days. The proposed contract listed here is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the agency. A solicitation package may be obtained by sending a written request referencing FO5604-96-BA002 and title. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after bid opening/RFP closing with no obligation to the offeror by the Government. (345)
