70 -- 70 INSTALL MUMPS AUDIOFAX 4-LINE SYSTEM SOL RFQ 5984-0021 DUE 122995 POC Contact Point, NORMA MLSNA, (608)372-1704 VAMC intends to award a sole source contract to MUMPS AudioFAX, 37 West Ave., Suite 203, Wayne PA, for a Medical Interative voice response system to be fully integrated with DHCP. The system will include the following applications: APPOINTMENT REMINDER MODULE, APPOINTMENT INQUIRY MODULE, PRESCRIPTION INQUIRY AND REFILL MODULE, NOTIFICATION OF CLINIC CANCELLATION MODULE, AND DHCP-STAFF/CALL NOTIFICATION OF OFF-SITE STAFF OF EMERGENCIES. The system must be written fully in MUMPS, and use VA standard networking including DDP, LAT and ethernet. Reports must be in VA standard FileMan. Reports and system parameter changes must be available from any terminal or printer at the VAMC. The system must save transaction data without requiring periodic backups of the interactive computer. The system must be totally turnkey in nature, and there must be no programming required by VA personnel. It is required that Appointment Reminder, Appointment Inquiry, and Pharmacy Refill applications be proven and operational at other VA Medical Centers. Refill must be proven and operational at the VA both with, and without, CMOPs. This award is being made under sole source contract due to the proprietary nature of the software. No solicitation document exists, requests for such a document will be considered nonresponsive. Interested parties must submit a capabilities statement, pricing, VA reference sites where these applications are in production, and information which delineates the ability to meet the stated requirements. If no written affirmative response is received within fifteen (15) days from the date of this notice, award will be made to MUMPS AudioFAX. No telephone requests will be honored.
