L -- OPERATIONAL FLIGHT TRAINER/AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS TRAINER UPDATE POC Contact, JIM KELLY, Phone (703)604-1920 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate and issue a contract to Hughes Training Inc., 13775 McLearen Road, Herndon, VA 22071 for the upgrade of V-22 operational flight trainer/aircraft systems trainer(OFT/AST) #1 to reflect the V-22 cockpit being developed under the existing V-22 engineering and manufacturing development contract N00019-93-C-0006. As designer, developer and sole producer of V-22 OFT/AST #1, only Hughes Training Inc. possesses the technical data, engineering expertise and the in-depth knowledge of the design, manufacture, operational and performance characteristics of V-22 OFT/AST #1 to perform this effort.
