The work on the contract resulting from the solicitation shall consist of the supplying of containers and trash removal from various units of Gateway National Recreation Area. This service will occur in Queens and Staten Island, New York. The Government anticipates the need for approximately: one hundred sixty (160) pick ups of twenty cubic yard containers and one hundred (100) pick ups of thirty cubic yard containers per year. This contract will consist of a base year (date of award through September 30, 1996) and four option years. The amount of pickups for the base year will be prorated from the yearly quantity based upon the time period remaining in the year. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered.
