request for either a quote or proposal, or an invitation for bid. The
intent of this pre-solicitation synopsis is to identify potential
offerors for an indefinite delivery contract for multi-trade
construction at various locations on Oahu, Hawaii. The work includes,
various repairs, alterations, construction, and demolition work to
facilities of Government agencies on Oahu, Hawaii using predetermined
labor prices and adjusted material prices by means of an indefinite
quantity contract. Under this contract, the Government may issue
delivery orders for various types of projects after negotiating a fair
and reasonable fixed price for labor, equipment, and materials using
the unit prices established in the Schedule of Indefinite Quantity
Work. The scope of work may include building demolition, pipe lagging,
road and airfield paving, fencing, roofing, painting, pool
repair/resurfacing, site work, sampling, testing, removal and disposal
of lead contaminated paint and asbestos, certified welding, and
masonry. The term of the contract will be a twelve month base period
plus two option years. The Government will not synopsize the options
when exercised. The total term of the contract, including all options,
will not exceed 36 months. The Government may award this contract to
more than one contractor. The Government will give fair consideration
to all awardees in placing orders based on criteria stated in the
solicitation. Estimated cost: $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. This
contract will replace a contract for similar services awarded in 1995
for $3,428,595.50. We will include information about the current
contract and the incumbent contractor (e.g., award date and amount,
value of last option exercised, etc.) with the solicitation package. We
do not required requests under the Freedom of Information Act to
provide this general information. The solicitation will require price
and technical proposals. Provide street address, phone number, and

Offerors shall submit a bid bond with their bid. This will be a Request
for Proposal. SIC Code 1799 applies. Interested parties should respond
