This project includes furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and performance necessary for the replacement of existing HVAC controls with new Direct Digital Controls (DDC) for 14 buildings and monitoring temperature in one building. Facilities are Bldg 338, 352, 384, 732, 948, 1099, 1106, 1111, 1129, 1166, 1171, 1176, 1220, 1707, and 2800. Facilities 384, 1106, 1707, and 1176 contain restricted areas and will require an escort during accomplishment of work. Facility 1707 is between runways and will require escort across the flight line to the building. Project also includes installing new or using existing electric and gas meters in selected buildings and tying into the DDC System for telemetering. Work shall be scheduled so that the Contractor will only work on up to four facilities at once. Upon completion of a facility the contractor will be allowed to start another facility. Magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Anticipated issuance date for IFB Solicitation Number F14614-96-B0006 is 12 Jan 96. Tentative opening date is 12 Feb 96. Performance period will be 240 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Standard Classification Code is 1731. This action is unrestricted.
