This project includes repairs and modifications to existing HVAC systems that serve the gage block and calibration rooms, the DC and low frequency room, and the offices and restrooms on the south side. Run new supply and return lines from the north mechanical room to the south mechanical room for heating and cooling of the modified areas. Also included are new lighting and a new sheetrock ceiling and in the gate block and calibration room to assure positive pressure requirements. Existing ceiling tile in other areas are to be replaced with new. Demolition work is also required including removal of existing HVAC units, relocate and install two Government furnished Leibert units with Contractor furnished and installed isolation dampers between these Liebert units AC 4 and AC 5 on supply return air ducts to prevent air from short cycling, provide a new gas fire boiler for heating, and do other work as required. The estimated cost of construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00.
