(901) 544-3613 (Site Code DACW66) The Memphis District, Corps of
Engineers, is seeking sources to perform essential security related
duties within the District's Office of Security and Law Enforcement.
(1) The contractor shall furnish technical services, as necessary,
within the limits of the U.S. Army Engineer District, Memphis, Corps of
Engineers. The work to be performed, under the provisions of this
contract shall consist of furnishing all services, materials, labor,
and equipment (except that which is specified to be
Government-furnished) required to perform the ordered work. The
contractor shall provide all labor and supervision necessary to
successfully perform the duties of a Supervisor Security Specialist and
a Security Specialist and as such, perform the following tasks: to
administer/maintain the Personnel Security Program in accordance with
(IAW) applicable government regulations; to administer/maintain the
U.S. Army Physical Security Program IAW applicable regulations; to
administer/ maintain the Industrial Security Program IAW applicable
DOD/DA regulations; to administer/maintain the Automation Security
Program IAW DOD, DA and Engineer Regulations; to administer/maintain
the Information Security Program IAW applicable DOD, DA and Engineer
Regulations; and to perform various preliminary and continuing law
enforcement functions, such as: a. Analyze law enforcement data,
establish trends, and to provide information/support to Division and
Separate Office Chiefs as required by the Chief, Security and Law
Enforcement. b. Conduct preliminary inquiries in order to determine
what investigative jurisdiction should be notified to continue the
investigation and to report those facts to the Chief, Security and Law
Enforcement. c. To provide investigative/inquiry support to the
Commander and his staff as required. d. To assist in the OPSEC
mobilization/training exercises to insure controlled access and proper
clearances have been granted. e. To assist in administering the
Foreign Visitor Program IAW applicable regulations. f. To assist in
administering the Signal and Communications Security Program IAW
applicable regulations. g. To provide briefings as reuired to the
Chief, Security and Law Enforcement. Field Assignments: As necessary to
provide adequate support to the various programs outlined above and to
insure that Automation, Information and Physical security inspections
are performed as required in the appropriate regulations. Travel is to
be performed to numerous field offices in the States of Tennessee,
Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, Mississippi and Louisiana and
some of these sites are remotely located. (2) The contractor shall have
a Facility Security Clearance issued by the Director, Defense
Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), DIS, Columbus, Ohio
43216. The contractor will be responsible for providing qualified
personnel to perform those functions outlined above. All personnel
involved in these programs will have access to Classified material
and/or equipment and will be required to have and maintain a Secret
Security Clearance. The contractor must be licensed in all states that
are within the boundary of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis
District. The positions will be located in the Memphis District's
Office of Security and Law Enforcement. These positions will be 40
hours per week, 52 weeks per year. If your firm is interested, you
