The SEC intends to award a sole source contract to Stratacom, Inc., 7165 Columbia Gateway Drive, Columbia, MD 21046, for the following maintenance services. Telephone Assistance: Telephone assistance is required 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, including holidays, with a guaranteed response time of 1 hour from the time the call is received. Personal Account Support: Account support is required from Senior Engineers familiar with our networking applications. This support must be provided on-line to assist in resolving any configuration, technical, or performance issues with our StrataCom network. These engineers must have the capability of dialing into our network and performing diagnostic checks and be empowered to work with the appropriate parties to coordinate a speedy resolution to our problem. This support is required 8:00am through 5:00pm local time with backup personnel able to answer questions during all other times. Automated On-line Help: Some form of on line help is required to gain information about software releases and revisions, technical how-to tips, specific topic search capabit is required 7 day a week, 24 hours a day includes holidays. Software Support: Support is required to provide access to all bugs fixes and minor software and firmware releases. This data should be available for downloading as we desire. Hardware Support: Support is required to provide shipment of replacement units within 24 hours for any of our StrataCom hardware. Technical Updates; Support is required that will provide upon our request, copies of all the latest documentation covering our StrataCom network operations, as well as, quarterly technical bulletins summarizing information about bug fixes, software releases, and common customer questions and answers. Network Planning Support; Support is required to assist in the planning and execution of hardware, software, and firmware updates to our network. In addition, the vendor must provide a yearly audit of our account activity and provide a report on any outstanding technical issues. This audit must provide a recommendation of ways for us to increase overall network efficiency. See Numered Note: 22. (0348)
