The estimated number of pages to be copied for non-billable requests for release of information is approximately 20,000 copies per month for the Danville, Illinois Facility and approximately 2,200 copies per month for the Peoria, Illinois Facility or a total of 266,400 copies for the twelve-month contract period. Non-billable requests include, but are not limited to; veteran requests, private agency requests, regional office requests, and regional counsel requests. The contractor will not be responsible for the reproduction of x-ray films. The contractor will provide, at no charge to either the Danville or the Peoria facilities, all photocopy equipment and supplies necessary to process the correspondence requests for medical records. The contractor will be responsible for installations, maintenance and removal of the contractor-provided equipment. The VA Facilities in Danville and in Peoria, Illinois will be responsible for providing space for the contractor for this equipment. THe government will also provide for postage costs on all outgoing correspondence. The contractor will furnish personnel to accomplish these services. The contractor will assign a contact person and an alternate to be reached for scheduling of work to be copied. The contractor is responsible for the training and supervision of his personnel and for insuring compliance with all provisions of the resulting contract.
