Work consists of removal of existing windows, doors, wooden stair, concrete pad, unit heaters, door frames, plywood siding, louver vents, thermostats, electrical light fixtures, transformers, switches, outlets, pipes and valves, etc., and all related items for the complete office renovation. The project also includes the construction of new offices, installation of windows, doors, floor tiels, concrete staris, aluminum handrail, aluminum railing, acoustical ceiling, gypsum wallboard, painting, mechanical, electrical items and all related work as indicaated on drawings and specified therein. All work will be awarded on a single contract. Estimated construction cost is $150,000. Estimated construction time is 26 weeks. A 20% bid bond is required. Payment and performance bodns are required after contract award. Brookhaven is charging a non-refundable fee of $20 for bid documents. Personal checks made out to ''Brookhaven National Laboratory'' are acceptable. Checks may be sent immediately and bid packages will be mailed upon availability.
