This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Requirement: Provide a complete ABD Ophthalmic Ultrasound System, Model I3-ABD-F. Provide a price for the complete system to arrive on COB 1-10-96, Room 1W50, Attn: Dennis R. DeYoung, 510 E. Stoner Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71101-4295. Intended use: This ophthalmic Ultrasound system will be used to scan and make measurements of all possible eye conditions. System Minimum Requirements: External Keyboard with custom overlay, Autofilm Polaroid, Video Printer with hardware and software support, two (2) Service Manuals. The ABD Ophthalmic Ultrasound System must have a real time analog display (Oscilloscope) for the A and B ultrasound scans. Offers for comparable items must provide sufficient literature to determine the technical adequacy and application of the system. Trade-in Allowance for a serviceable Teknar Ultrasonic Unit, Model 7500, Serial # 0017774984 is requested.
