C -- ARCHITECT-ENGINEER OPEN END CONTRACT TO INVESTIGATE, DESIGN, AND IMPLEMENT PRIMARILY CIVIL/STRUCTURAL PROJECTS AT OFFUTT AFB, NE. SOL F25600-96-R0049 DUE 010596 POC Shirley Twitchell, Contract Administrator, 402-294-6005/4205. One or more open-end Architect Engineer (A-E) contract(s) for investigation and design of routine miscellaneous projects are required. The projects will involve primarily civil/structural services with architectural, mechanical and electrical engineering support, as required, as well as removal of asbestos and lead based paint where encountered. Constructions costs of the individual projects will range between $5,000.00 and $3,000,000.00. The contract(s) will run over a one year period, with a possible option year. The selected firm(s) is guaranteed a minimum of $5,000.00 (each) in fees. No individual order will exceed $299,000.00 in fees, including the initial order. The cumulative fees for the contract will not exceed $499,000.00. The A-E firms will be evaluated on the following significant factors in relative order of importance: professional qualification, professional capacity, specialized experience, past performance, location, computer aided design drafting (AUTOCADD), and volume of work. A-E firms desiring consideration should be multi-disciplined or clearly indicate their consultants or joint ventures. The anticipated disciplines required for these projects are Archetectural, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical. A-E firms desiring consideration must also submit both SF 254 and SF 255 with appropriate data as described in Note 24. SF 254 and SF 255 are also required for consultants or joint venture firms. Non-responsive firms will not be considered by the A-E selection boards. Firms responding to this announcement by close of business on 05 January 1996 will be considered for selection.
